I am a mother, naturopath, doula and childbirth educator with a passion for fertility, pregnancy, birth, post natal care and children’s health.

My philosophy is to provide gentle therapeutic support, education and encouragement to improve your physical and emotional wellbeing.

I have been an advocate of natural therapies for many years, studying all sorts of modalites and adding these to my practice. My interest in women’s and reproductive health was sparked close to finishing my naturopathic studies and I remember the inspiration I felt at the time that this was what I wanted to do!

I worked in a wholistic health clinic in Sydney’s Gladesville under the guidance of Christine Wiltshire, and it was here I gained a great deal of experience in treating women and children, from women’s health issues, to preconception care, pregnancy and treating all sorts of childhood conditions.

At this time I was also offering pregnancy massage and was priviledged to be a support person with women giving birth. This led me into becoming a doula – a woman who is knowledgable about, and supports women during their pregnancy and birth. Recently I felt the need to add to my knowledge of birth and early parenting and became a qualified childbirth educator.

Working as a doula and educator has given me immeasurable insight into pregnancy and birth. It has made my naturopathic care more empathetic and nurturing during pregnancy and has improved my understanding of how a woman can positively prepare for her birth.

Becoming a mother has also added to my treatment of children – namely that I really try and keep things simple! I understand the pressures and juggling act many mothers face every day, and aim to improve not only your child’s health but yours – Mums and Dads, as well. In this way my practice aims to be family centred and is focused on building a long term, supportive healing relationship.
