What are you tolerating?

Monday I FINALLY got a battery for the car remote.

This pesky little battery had gone flat.

For a while I would hold it close to the car and furiously press the button, hoping for that little click, then after a while, nothing.

My car no longer locked.

I actually drove it around the place like that for a while, not locking it places and worrying when I did that.

I thought about getting the new battery, and then would forget, or ‘not have time’.

On Monday I got the damn battery changed.

It took 5 minutes, cost $20, the guy was friendly and as I was walking out to my car, I felt very organised.

I also felt like I have gotten rid of that ‘niggle’.

‘Wow’ you say ‘I’m really glad I took the time to read that’.

The ‘niggle’ (I’m sure one day it will make it to the oxford dictionary),

I describe it as that feeling that there is something that you need to take care of,

something that you have been putting off and its right there, in the back of your mind, taking up precious mental space.

Space that you could be using to connect with your husband, kids, friends, get creative, get fit, or simply just switch off.

The niggle is also physical.

The number of women that tell me that they have been thinking of coming to see for a long time, but have been putting it off due to lack of time, being scared of me turning their life upside down (I eat vegemite too ladies, check out my Instagram feed).

When they come, it’s a clearing of the niggle, it’s a feeling of accomplishment before the treatment plan has even been written, the healing path has already begun!

So I ask you what is YOUR niggle?

Do you need to book your hair appointment? (That’s my niggle for today, I’m booking that appointment!).

Is there a battery that needs replacing?

Do you need to pull the diary out and book in with me?

Is there something in your home that needs to be cleared out that’s bugging you? (Honestly, that fruit bowl from 1986 CAN go to vinnies, or in my case, a good friend who does retro beautifully).

I ask you to spend a bit of time, invest in yourself, face the ‘niggle’ and feel clearer and energised.
You will. I promise.

To celebrate moving into my new clinic space in Tweed Heads, I have an opening special for initial consultation of $120.

  • YES – you still get a health fund rebate receipt
  • YES – you still can see me via skype (many prefer this – I call it the ‘PJ and slipper effect’)
  • YES – You get a personalised treatment plan including dietary advice, lifestyle changes, prescription (where necessary).
  • YES – you only get high quality practitioner-only products prescribed to you.

If you are ready to ditch that ‘niggle’ call on 0409 991 4552, or book in at http://www.yournaturopath.com.au/product/initial-skype-consultation/,

When we take care of ourselves, we can take care of others.

When we take care of others, we create a world that everyone can enjoy – that’s where the magic happens.

I would LOVE to hear from you about clearing your ‘niggle’ below in the comments!

X Katie
